Screen PrinterJob Summary:
Responsible for producing high-quality printed designs on garments and other textile products using automatic screen-printing equipment. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of printing techniques, and the ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate automatic screen-printing press.
- Prepare screens, inks, and printing materials for production.
- Align garments and screens to ensure accurate print placement.
- Mix inks to match specified colors and maintain color consistency.
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects.
- Clean and maintain printing equipment and work areas.
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals.
- Troubleshoot printing issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Adhere to workplace safety procedures and company quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous screen-printing experience is required.
- Knowledge of screen-printing techniques, inks, and equipment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work overtime during busy production periods if required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automatic screen-printing presses.
- Knowledge of garment decoration and textile printing processes.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Work Environment:
- Production facility.
- Frequent standing, bending, and repetitive hand movements.
- Exposure to inks, cleaning chemicals, and production equipment.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
- Fully air conditioned facility.
