The Outside Sales position supports the Branch Manager and Sales Team to perform, coordinate and oversee field sales and mid-level projects while providing an extensive level of support, acting with little supervision, to anticipate needs while managing the day-to-day workflow and prioritizing various projects.
The Outside Sales Representative is expected to embrace our “Glad to be Here” core value by promoting a positive sales culture, while developing and maintaining knowledge of inventory, account management, sales processes, and best industry practices. A successful Outside Sales Representative maximizes results by solving customer problems and creating mutual value through the following tasks:
Acquiring new customers and establishing new accounts by conducting cold calls and meeting potential customers in-person; make sales calls on multiple market segments including retail, installation, and fleet customers.
Effectively communicating features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
Leveraging sales force automation tools to identify opportunities within accounts.
High School Diploma (or GED) required, Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
