Martin Transportation Systems has an opening for a WorkingShop Foremanat our Springfield, ILterminal. This position would be overseeing a 3 shift operation withstandard day hours.
REQUIRMENTS:

Knowledge and experience with the following engine systems:
-
Knowledge of different tires & cost of maintaining tires on tractors and trailers
-
Cost of maintaining tractors and trailers
-
Maintain and preserve proper inventory management
-
Familiar with outlook
-
Basic knowledge of how to use excel
-
3+ Years diesel mechanic experience
-
ASE certified
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Professionalism-in both employee management and customer service

Transportation or automotive management experience a plus.

Knowledge of compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations a plus.
