What to Expect
The Supply Chain Operations Supervisor works with cross-functional teams (Global Supply Management, Quality, Production, Supplier Quality) to assure Tesla is fully reimbursed from suppliers for the Production parts quality as well as the non-conformant material management and its proper disposition.
What You'll Do-
Manage the GFTX Chargeback team making sure training, tools and processes are fulfilled to keep the Return to Vendor as well as the Chargeback processes running at high level

Ability to effectively document and communicate investigation results

Can use basic features of JIRA, X-Ray, Tableau, and other data acquisition systems

Intermediate Excel knowledge (plots, Pareto Charts, etc.)

Guide and coordinate training efforts on the Parts quality inspection/rework procedures are being maintained and interact with the manufacturing team members to determine shift priorities and allocation of labor

Aligns with management on cost down projects

Provide insights and coordinates cross-functional team assessment on parts quality issue downstream impact and priorities
What You'll Bring

2+ years of experience managing operations teams

Must understand general manufacturing processes, quality methodologies, and team leadership while demonstrating reliability, initiative, and desire to learn and teach

Effective verbal and written communication skills in English along with strong attention to detail, flexibility, and prioritization

Capable of providing constructive feedback to subordinate and maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information

Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required and a preferred experience with quality methods/analysis, familiarity with process control/charts, defect identification and analysis, SPC, FMEA

Ability to work a flexible schedule and sit, stand, and/or walk for 4+ hours per day
- Ability to use technological tools such as touch screen displays, and business system applications to manage, synthesize, and interpret data
