POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Farm Manager, responsible for transporting guests throughout the farm and providing crop and farm information to them in a helpful and friendly manner.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

Communicate with Farm Manager.

Check tire pressure and oil supply to ensure the tractor is performing optimally.

Observe and listen to machinery to detect equipment malfunctions.

Welcome guests as they approach tractor and wagon.

Assist guests with climbing aboard the wagon.

Answer customer questions and provide crop information to guests.

Drive carefully through the orchard dropping guests off at the designated picking location as prescribed by the pick your own manager.

Provide picking containers to guests that are out in the orchard.

Performs other duties as needed or assigned
Working conditions may be hot, cold or other – completely dependent on outdoor conditions during the shift you work.
Knowledge: Job requires a high school diploma or GED; at least 6 months of experience of tractor or machinery driving experience.

Must be familiar with tractors and/or other heavy equipment.
License(s)/Certification(s) Required: Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
