Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining cold forming (multi-hit) machines to produce high-quality parts efficiently and safely. This position plays a key role in ensuring production runs smoothly while meeting quality and productivity standards.
Duties

Setup and troubleshoot cold forming multi-slide machines for production runs

Setup and trouble shoot inertia and hydraulic vertical presses.

Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and specifications

Perform tooling changes, adjustments, and machine calibrations

Run and monitor production to ensure parts meet quality standards

Inspect finished products using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

Identify and resolve mechanical or production issues quickly

Work closely with operators and supervisors to optimize performance

Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are in safe working condition

Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
Requirements, Education, Skills

Prior experience setting up cold forming or multi-hit machines required. (Waterbury brand is a plus)

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments

Knowledge of tooling, dies, and machine adjustments

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus)

Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices
