- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to convert completed mock-ups into clean, well-structured CSS and HTML pages
- An understanding of the concepts and practices of responsive design for mobile optimization
- Strong sense of design, typography, and branding for the web
- Adherence to latest and best Web technologies and trends
- Work samples / link to an online portfolio
- Ability to continue to elevate pre-existing web design aesthetic while maintaining alignment with branding and organizational goals
- Operate effectively as a member of the development team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- BS / BA university degree
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks like JQuery
- Ability to build responsive websites from scratch using flexible grids and media queries
