Job Summary
- Provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist
- Carry out established plans of care and appropriately progress treatments within the PTA scope of practice
- Provide primarily outpatient orthopedic treatment
- Treat a variety of patient populations and diagnoses
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Communicate changes in patient status to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients regarding exercises, home programs, and treatment recommendations
- Maintain a positive, professional, and patient-centered environment
- Work collaboratively with the PT and clinic team
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current or eligible Florida PTA license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable and able to manage a patient schedule efficiently
- Comfortable working with a degree of independence while maintaining appropriate communication with the supervising PT
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but not required
- Vestibular and/or neurological rehabilitation experience is a plus

Schedule
Approximately 25–30 hours per week, primarily during weekday daytime hours.
There is potential for the position to grow as the clinic's caseload increases.
