Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our mobile ultrasound services team. Responsibilities
- Operate medical imaging equipment to perform ultrasound examinations across diverse specialties including Echocardiogram, Lower Extremity Arterial Duplex, Ankle-Brachial Index, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process clearly and ensuring comfort throughout the exam
- Apply aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures
- Analyze images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary to capture optimal diagnostic information
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret imaging results and support diagnosis processes
- Maintain detailed records of patient interactions, procedures performed, and equipment used in compliance with healthcare regulations
Skills
- Proficiency in operating medical imaging equipment such as ultrasound machines and vascular technology devices
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to sonography and diagnostic radiology
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques to prevent infection during procedures
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to patients and healthcare professionals
- Familiarity with medical equipment operation, picture archiving systems, and diagnostic protocols related to women's health care
