Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Electrical Estimator / Foreman to join our team. This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity to lead electrical estimating efforts while overseeing on-site electrical operations. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of construction estimating expertise and hands-on electrical experience to ensure project success from bidding through execution.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates using industry-standard tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to develop comprehensive scope of work and pricing strategies.
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Lead electrical installation activities on construction sites, managing crews and coordinating daily operations.
- Oversee project budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost control measures to maximize profitability.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop schedules, manage contracts, and track project progress through effective project management practices.
Skills
- Strong electrical background with hands-on site experience in construction environments.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and supplier agreements effectively.
- Knowledge of NEC standards and electrical codes essential for accurate estimation and compliance.
- Excellent construction management skills with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
