Certified Nurse's Aide
Oak Grove nursing home is currently accepting applications for Certified Nursing Assistant full time for the 2 PM-10 PM shift. This is a 4 on 2 off rotating schedule. Applicant must have current certification in Texas. If interested, please come by 6230 Warren Groves to fill out application.
Certified Nurses Aide's Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
- Change linens and ensure patient rooms are clean and organized.
- Properly position patients to ensure comfort and prevent bedsores.
- Offer hydration and ensure patients are well-nourished.
- Check in on patients in the morning and night to monitor their condition.
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- React appropriately to emergency situations.
- Provide high-quality care and support to residents/patients.
- Perform other similar duties as assigned by the nursing department when necessary.
Certified Nurses Aide's Requirements:
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a CNA.
- Ideal candidate must be a caring individual dedicated to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to react to emergency situations appropriately.
- Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
