Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake cinnamon rolls and bread from scratch, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Decorate baked goods with icing, toppings, and creative designs to enhance visual appeal.
- Manage food production processes efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Package baked items carefully for retail display or takeout orders, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring ingredients and supplies, and restocking as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment cleaning and sanitation protocols.
- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations.
- Be able to communicate and train fellow employees
Qualifications
- Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or food preparation within a bakery or restaurant setting.
- Strong skills in cake decorating, icing techniques, and food handling procedures.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper kitchen sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with food industry equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and packaging tools.
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in baking techniques to produce high-quality cinnamon rolls.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
