American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring active L&D experience, advanced fetal monitoring certification, and NRP Advanced Provider or Instructor credentials.

Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting

Night shift schedule, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, 40 hours per week

13-week contract

Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)

Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP Advanced Provider or NRP Instructor

Minimum of 1 year of L&D nursing experience required

Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred

At least 2 years of travel nursing experience required

Experience in a Level 1 trauma setting required

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors

Full date of birth required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered

Travelers who have previously worked at this health system may return after a 6-month separation period, as the facility limits placements to one extension (26 weeks total)

Compliance with onboarding requirements (drug screening, background check, medical requirements) must begin immediately upon offer acceptance — the facility enforces strict compliance deadlines and will not negotiate start dates
