Avir Trilogy is seeking a Regional Maintenance Director to join our team!
We're looking for a Regional Maintenance Director who knows that in skilled nursing, the building is part of the care. You'll provide leadership, oversight, and technical support for maintenance, environmental services, and life safety across multiple facilities throughout Texas, partnering with Executive Directors, facility Maintenance Directors, and regional leadership to keep every building safe, compliant, and running.
This role lives in the mechanical rooms and the regulations both. You'll be on rooftops and in generator rooms one day and walking a facility through a Life Safety Code inspection the next.

What You'll Do:
Lead maintenance operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities and support facility Maintenance Directors and their teams.
Develop, implement, and monitor preventative maintenance programs for buildings, grounds, equipment, and major building systems.
Oversee maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, fire alarm, sprinkler, emergency power, and medical gas systems where applicable.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, CMS, Texas Health and Human Services, OSHA, NFPA, and Life Safety Code requirements.
Conduct facility inspections, environmental rounds, and life safety audits to identify compliance risks and operational deficiencies.
Build and monitor corrective action plans that resolve maintenance and regulatory concerns.
Support facilities through state surveys, Life Safety Code inspections, fire marshal inspections, and accreditation reviews.
Monitor preventive maintenance schedules and confirm required inspections, testing, and documentation are completed on time.
Support emergency preparedness, disaster planning, and business continuity, and confirm generators, fire protection systems, and safety devices are maintained and tested.
Assist facilities with capital improvement planning, equipment replacement, and long-term maintenance strategy.
Manage vendor relationships, contractor performance, and major repair projects.
Promote workplace safety and compliance with OSHA standards across the region.

Qualifications for Regional Maintenance Director:
Minimum of five years of progressive maintenance leadership experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, senior living, hospitals, or other regulated facilities.
Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, generators, fire protection systems, and building maintenance operations.
Strong understanding of CMS regulations, NFPA Life Safety Code, OSHA standards, Texas healthcare regulations, and emergency preparedness requirements.
Experience preparing facilities for regulatory surveys and life safety inspections.
Multi-facility or regional maintenance management experience preferred.
Ability to travel extensively throughout Texas, including occasional overnight travel. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Ability to walk facilities including mechanical rooms, rooftops, and outdoor areas, climb ladders, navigate stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.
