Duties
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating to meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices
- Support the serving team by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas in compliance with health regulations
- Support banquet events by preparing ingredients and assisting with large-scale food service operations
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and basic cooking techniques
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with hotel or banquet catering experience is advantageous but not mandatory
