Position Summary:
The Precision Deburring Specialist is responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from aerospace components while maintaining strict dimensional and quality requirements. This role supports the manufacturing of precision-machined parts by ensuring all components meet engineering drawings, customer specifications, and aerospace quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform precision deburring, blending, polishing, and edge breaking on machined aerospace components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, microscopes, and precision measuring equipment.
- Inspect parts for burrs, surface defects, and dimensional compliance.
- Maintain critical tolerances and surface finish requirements.
- Follow aerospace quality standards and company procedures.
- Identify and report nonconforming parts or process issues.
- Handle parts carefully to prevent damage to critical features.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and learn manufacturing practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in deburring, finishing, or precision manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T is a plus.
- Familiarity with aerospace materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and Inconel.
- Experience using precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Skills:
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work with small, intricate, and complex aerospace components.
- Strong quality inspection skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
