Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse and material handling operations for the PM SHIFT. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and preparing materials for shipment while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is a team player who can work efficiently in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, store, and organize incoming materials and inventory.
- Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, overhead cranes, or other material handling equipment.
- Move materials between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.
- Tag, label, and document materials accurately.
- Perform inventory checks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Report equipment issues, inventory discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Support warehouse operations and assist other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or material handling experience is a plus.
- Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, or other industrial equipment is a plus.
- Ability to learn and follow safe rigging and material handling practices.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and shipping documents.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement throughout the shift.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and warehouse conditions.
- Ability to safely work around heavy equipment and materials.
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
