What We Offer:
The Safety Attendant provides one-on-one observation of selected patients for the purpose of identifying behaviors which are potentially hazardous to self or others in accordance with facility policies and procedures; reports needs and concerns to licensed nurse.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Experience: Previous hospital experience, preferred.

Licensure/Certification: De-Escalation Techniques (within 90 days of employment), required

Life Support Responder (within 90 days of employment), required.

Management of Aggressive Behaviors (MOAB) Training (within 90 days after completion of De-Escalation Training), required.

Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing as applicable. Is knowledgeable regarding guidelines for infection control, body substance precautions, patient safety, and body mechanics. Maintains acceptable standards set by those guidelines.

Ability to work with all age group patients or act as a companion.

Basic computer skills for documentation.
