Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with food ordering, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Operate POS systems such as toast POS and
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining balanced cash drawers
- Prepare simple food items or assist in food preparation to support kitchen staff when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales and maximize revenue opportunities
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring timely service and positive guest interactions
Requirements
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as toast POS
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing change
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous but not mandatory
