Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and conduct practices and training sessions to improve players’ technical skills and strategic understanding of golf
- Develop game strategies, analyze performance, and provide constructive feedback to enhance team competitiveness
- Lead team participation in local, regional, and national tournaments, ensuring proper preparation and sportsmanship
- Foster a positive team culture focused on respect, effort, and personal improvement
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper use of equipment and adherence to health guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of team attendance, performance statistics, and tournament results
Skills
- Proven experience in sports coaching with a focus on golf or similar athletic disciplines
- Strong background in teaching physical education or sports skills to students of various ages
- Excellent communication skills for motivating students and collaborating with staff and parents
- Ability to manage behavior effectively and create an inclusive, respectful environment
- Knowledge of health club or gym operations related to sports training is a plus
- Experience working with children or adolescents in a childcare or educational setting
- Demonstrated ability to develop training plans tailored to individual needs and team goals
