Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant General Manager in the Dallas Metro Area to oversee daily operations, ensure excellent guest experiences, and drive profitability. The General Manager will lead both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, maintain high standards, and foster a positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage staff across all departments.
- Monitor and maintain quality standards for food, service, cleanliness, and safety.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and achieve financial goals.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Oversee scheduling and labor management to maximize productivity.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain menu quality and consistency.
- Drive sales and marketing initiatives to grow revenue.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, financials, and customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
- Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling software, and basic financial reporting.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
- Comfortable working in both front-of-house and kitchen environments.
