Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant
Pay: $15.00–$20.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

We are currently seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical setting and is interested in continuing to develop their veterinary skills.

- Clinic is closed Saturdays and Sundays
Job Responsibilities
The Veterinary Technician/Assistant will assist with patient care and hospital operations, including:
- Assisting with outpatient appointments and treatments
- Performing laboratory testing
- Preparing patients for surgery
- Assisting with surgical procedures
- Monitoring anesthesia and patient recovery
- Triaging patients
- Admitting and discharging patients
- Communicating with clients regarding patient care and home care instructions
- Performing venipuncture
- Safely restraining patients
- Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment
- Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining hospital work areas
Qualifications
Preferred:
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) or equivalent credential
Required:
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital
- Knowledge of basic veterinary procedures and terminology
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Compensation
- $15.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
