Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate orders using POS systems such as TOAST.
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces through bussing and sanitation practices.
- Assist with food handling, packaging, and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Support team members in food preparation, stocking supplies, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
