Canvass America is hiring Political Canvassers (Grassroots Associates) in Georgia to support public engagement efforts on behalf of Americans for Prosperity - Georgia (AFP Georgia) initiatives.
This position is being recruited in partnership with AFP Georgia; however, Canvass America will be the employer of record.
As a Grassroots Associate, you will go door-to-door in assigned neighborhoods to have conversations with voters about the issues that matter most to them and assess where they stand on various public policies and candidates as part of AFP Georgia-supported projects.
Compensation
- $20.00 per hour
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be located in the state of Georgia
Responsibilities
- Door knocking/canvassing in neighborhoods throughout your geographic area.
- Engaging voters in conversations related to AFP Georgia priority issues and policy initiatives
- Surveying citizens about various issues and political races
- Accurately recording responses and feedback
Qualifications
- Must be located near specified location (position requires canvassing throughout the county)
- High level of personal integrity
- Prior door-to-door or political campaign experience preferred, but not required
- Willingness to engage respectfully with citizens about issues, policies, and political candidates
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
