Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, excellent patient management skills, and a thorough understanding of dental procedures and equipment. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality pediatric dentistry while supporting the overall efficiency of our practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring adherence to infection prevention management protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray).
- Manage patient records using electronic DENTAL documentation systems such as Dentrix ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Mixing cement, pouring models.
- Support patient management by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience aligned with patient care standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with proficiency in dental instrument processing, sterilization procedures, and infection control practices.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures across various specialties including pediatric dentistry.
- Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, and dental sterilization tools effectively.
- Excellent understanding of DENTAL infection prevention and control standards along with aseptic techniques.
- Exceptional communication skills combined with a professional demeanor to support both team collaboration and patient care excellence.
