Job Overview:
Clean Team is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Area Manager to join our team for a full-time second shift position. The Area Manager plays an important leadership role in overseeing multiple cleaning locations, supporting team members, and ensuring that our clients consistently receive high-quality service.
This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership and organizational skills who enjoys managing teams and maintaining operational standards. The Area Manager will supervise staff, perform quality inspections, assist with scheduling, and ensure all company policies and expectations are followed. In addition, this role is responsible for monitoring inventory levels and assisting with payroll processes to help ensure smooth daily operations.
The successful candidate must be professional, organized, and capable of managing several responsibilities while working independently during evening hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage cleaning operations across multiple commercial locations
- Supervise and support cleaning staff during second shift operations
- Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met
- Train and onboard new employees and provide ongoing support when needed
- Assist with staff scheduling to ensure proper coverage at all job sites
- Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure job sites are properly stocked and coordinate supply deliveries when necessary
- Assist with payroll reporting, including reviewing employee hours and submitting time records accurately
- Respond to employee questions, concerns, and operational issues during the shift
- Communicate with upper management regarding staffing needs, client feedback, and performance updates
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and address service issues when they arise
- Ensure all employees follow company safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple locations and prioritize tasks effectively
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently
- Comfortable handling administrative tasks such as inventory tracking and payroll reporting
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must have reliable personal transportation to travel between job sites
- Ability to perform physical tasks if assistance is needed at job locations
