McKesson's Corporate Strategy and Business Development (CSBD) department isseekingto add a Senior Director to its Enterprise Strategy &CSBDOperations team thatis responsible forhelping the company achieve its growth goals and strategic vision.The Senior Director, Enterprise Strategy will support enterprise leadership in planning, delivering, and implementing high-priority strategic projects that advance McKesson's competitive position and contribute to our purpose of Advancing Health Outcomes for All®. This role will work with business leaders to develop strategies aligned to our enterprise priorities and partner across CSBDand other functionalteams in support of McKesson's strategy.
In this challenging and highly visible role, the Sr. Director will support enterprise-level strategic direction and long-range planning. This role analyzes external business environments toanticipateindustry trends, influence strategy,identifystrategic needs as they relate to the pursuit of building new and strengthening existing business endeavors, and recommend growth opportunities for the enterprise. The role manages two senior managers, ensuring operational excellence, the execution of high-impact initiatives, and talent development.
This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Enterprise Strategy and CSBD Operations.
Define and manage multiple complex strategic projects and initiatives, high-quality deliverables, and detailed work plans, includingtimelines,incubation, hypothesis development, and successful project execution
Manage relationships with key leaders and project stakeholders throughout the organization, effectively navigating the process to lead, influence, and reach consensus with or without formal authority
Monitor and synthesize industry developments, market research, competitive intelligence, and emerging risks andopportunitiesto inform enterprise strategy
Maintain thorough knowledge of the company's business lines, products, and services, developing multiple subject matter expert areas of focus
Coach, develop, and mentor direct reports, building a strong leadership bench and fostering a culture of analytical rigor, intellectual curiosity, and professional growth
13+ years of prior strategy consulting, healthcare consulting,innovation consulting,corporate strategy,startup, and/or relevant industry experience, with 6+ years of diversified leadership experience
Demonstrated people management experience, including direct supervision, coaching, and development of team members
