Position: On-Site Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, department leads, associates, and the branch office. Maintain clear and effective communication to ensure smooth operations.
- Become well-versed in client processes, providing hands-on management of recruiting, employee relations, and customer service activities.
- Develop and implement proactive recruitment and retention strategies to meet clients' workforce requirements.
- Oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely paperwork completion, and the preparation of client reports. Assist in resolving operational challenges.
- Provide recommendations for staffing decisions, including hiring, performance evaluations, training, and work assignments, in collaboration with client leadership.
- Manage employee attendance, time off requests, reimbursements, and employment documentation. Ensure proper timekeeping and compliance with client protocols.
- Participate in key administrative decision-making, including workflow prioritization and the enforcement of policies and procedures. Lead or contribute to management and safety meetings.
- Ensure all necessary client-specific requirements are met, such as background checks, drug screenings, and skills assessments.
- Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring proper use of PPE and adherence to safe working practices. Respond to medical emergencies, conduct thorough accident investigations, and work with the risk management team to report and mitigate incidents.
- Conduct regular walk-throughs of production or warehouse areas where employees are assigned, addressing any safety or operational issues.
- Oversee payroll processes, maintaining accurate daily records and resolving any issues related to timesheets or employee documentation.
- Provide counseling and performance management for employees, documenting warnings, terminations, or resignations as needed.
- Facilitate the onboarding of new employees, including check-ins, badge issuance, and introductions to workstations.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to supervise and train employees, with skills in organizing, scheduling, and prioritizing tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong data management and reporting capabilities.
- Experience in employee development and performance management.
- Advanced proficiency in computer systems and related software.
- A resourceful and proactive approach to managing a dynamic work environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages.
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and insurance.
