Southern Precision is hiring 2 people for 2 positions.
1st we are looking to hire for a CNC Operator/ Set Up / Programmer. Candidates must be able to work 40+ hours per week. Have working knowledge of G and M Codes, being able to Set-Up/Program is a necessary skill. We are looking for a strong lathe setup person, multi turn lathes is a plus but not necessary. We are also looking for a strong mill setup person.
Have basic measuring instruments and tool box is a plus.
Hiring for 1st shift for this position, must have an excellent attendance and follow work instructions.
Should be able read all measuring instruments and blueprints.
Machining in difficult materials is a plus.
Mastercam or other CAD/CAM experience is a plus, but not necessary, but being able to alter and adjust G/M Codes is necessary.
Operate on the state's highest tech metal cutting machines.
Work 40+ hours per week in a clean, climate-controlled facility.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- 5 to 10 years on CNC machines for operators or setup personnel
- Multi Axis: Minimum 1 year on Multi /axis (plus)
