A full time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) will support your hygiene schedule to maximizes efficiency by assisting in clinical charting, taking vital signs, managing necessary paperwork, and setting up and breaking down operatories.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Assess patient oral health by examining teeth, gums, and oral tissues; document findings accurately in medical records.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination.
- Review documentation for accuracy, update medical records , and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct patient assessments including medical history review and vital signs measurement to support safe dental care delivery.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current state certification.
- Knowledge documentation review processes and HIPAA compliance standards.
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
