Senior Estimator | Sylmar, CA | $100,000 - $125,000
Our client, a well-established commercial landscaping and irrigation contractor serving Southern California, is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the estimating process for large-scale landscape construction projects.
Key Responsibilities

Review plans, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate cost estimates.

Prepare quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.

Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and vendor pricing.

Develop conceptual budgets through final bid estimates across all stages of design.

Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.

Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals and RFP responses.

Assess project risks, logistics, and technical requirements during preconstruction.

Collaborate with clients, operations teams, and project managers to ensure successful project transitions.
Qualifications

Experience estimating commercial or public-sector landscape projects.

Strong understanding of construction estimating and project documentation.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.

Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
Compensation
