Begin with a quick safety huddle and review of priority work orders.

Install, service, and repair power distribution, control circuits, and equipment across the plant.

Diagnose issues with meters, testers, and other instruments to get equipment back online quickly.

Interpret and update blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate repairs and modifications.

Verify all work meets electrical codes, plant standards, and safety regulations.

Partner with mechanics, production, and other trades to coordinate efficient project execution.

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to catch problems early.

Document all work performed and keep clear, timely maintenance records.

Keep skills current by learning emerging tools, controls, and industry technologies.

Hands-on background as an industrial electrician or closely related role.
