About iDucation Center:
iDucation Center is an after school, an enrichment / tutoring center located in Chino, CA. We provide regular after school program, wide variety of enrichment classes, one-on-one tutoring programs, summer and winter camps. We are here to provide a calm, relaxing, joyful learning environment. Children here will fully utilize their after school time to not only finish their homework, but also have access to a wide variety of extended enrichment classes. In iDucation Center, children would learn and practice at their full potential. And we will help them build a concept of what a productive life is and how to make it happen.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience;
- Have taught in a classroom setting with at least 10 students;
- Familiar with California Common Core Standards, and have teaching experience based on it;
- Willing to drive company cars to pick up students from surrounding schools;
- BIG PLUS if capable to teach math of 4th grader and up;
- BIG PLUS if having experience of teaching/tutoring reading and writing;
Job Tasks:
- Assist students with their homework, make sure it is all complete and checked;
- Observe students learning result from their homework performance;
- Give exams to evaluate students learning progression;
- Keep track and make records of students learning progression;
- Give extra worksheet based on students learning progression and common core standards;
- Manage classroom dynamics and student behavior;
- Keep records of student's daily activity, performance and behavior, and communicate with managers about any issue/improvement that we need to be aware of;
