We are currently expanding our network of U.S.-based Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) for Mixteco to support IRS and USCIS federal projects .
IMPORTANT: This role is only open to candidates who are currently based in the United States and are U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders due to federal project requirements. Applications that do not meet these criteria will not be considered.
What You'll Do
- Provide accurate interpretation via phone (OPI)
- Support communication for IRS, USCIS, and other federal agencies
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy in all interactions
Requirements (MANDATORY)
- Fluency in English and Mixteco
- Must be currently based in the United States
- U.S. Citizenship or a valid Green Card is required
- Prior interpreting experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Technical Requirements
- Computer (Windows 10 or newer) with at least 8GB RAM
- High-speed internet (minimum 20 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload)
- USB wired headset required (no Bluetooth/wireless devices)
