ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive daily work order packets from the office and review the scope of work with field plans for accuracy.
- Connect with construction manager and or project superintendent for any changes or clarifications in scope of work.
- Manage and maintain the project on schedule.
- Review material orders and coordinate for the material to be delivered to job site.
- Coordinate and rectify any material deficiencies.
- Deliver job materials and/or equipment to job sites when necessary.
- Assign the appropriate crew to each job throughout the entire scope of project.
- Complete job site mark-outs in accordance with construction plans.
- Manage all subcontractor job performance and quality of work.
- Ensures safety protocols are being followed.
- Conduct quality control checks on workmanship and report on each completed scope of work.
- Effectively handle any defects in quality and assure the policy regarding corrections of defects is followed.
- Ensure job site cleanliness.
- Approve completed purchase orders for processing and payment.
- Build effective relationships with clients through effective communication and partnership.
- Perform all other duties assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the residential construction industry.
- Drywall experience preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with clients/customers, management, peers and subcontractors in high-paced, high-stressed situations.
- Must have a proven track record of organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Must be able to read constructions plans, specifications and extract the required data.
- Must be deadline driven and detail-oriented.
- Must possess and have proven strong leadership qualities.
- Possess a good attitude and be able to deal with conflicts when necessary.
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish).
- Drug Free Workplace, Background Screening and MVR check must be completed and passed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
