We are a Portland based operation seeking someone to join our team focused on the routine lube/oil/filter/ bulbs, belts, air systems, brakes, pre-trip assistance and repair to keep up on those DOT needs.

Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to assist our mechanics with lube, oil, and filter changes on our fleet. We are willing to train the right individual for this position with an opportunity for growth. The Lube Oil Technician reports to the Senior Mechanic and is responsible for supporting the maintenance and inspection of company trucks and trailers. This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to safely lift, push, and pull more than 50 pounds.
Job Responsibilities:
· Perform lubrication services, oil changes, and filter changes on company trucks.
· Assist with DOT inspections on trucks and trailers and walk through trucks with drivers.
· Organize and execute the planned maintenance schedule for all trucks and trailers.
· Maintain organized records of parts, supplies, and maintenance activity.
· Communicate daily with Senior Mechanic regarding the status of trucks and trailers.
· Keep the maintenance shop clean, organized, and safe.
· Ability to change headlights, minor wiring, small truck repair, and miscellaneous small maintenance as needed.
Qualifications:
· Basic knowledge of truck maintenance, lubrication, oil changes, and filter changes preferred.
· Ability to follow maintenance schedules and complete documentation accurately.
· Ability to safely lift, push, and pull more than 50 pounds.
· Dependable, organized, and able to communicate clearly with mechanics, drivers, and management.
