Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Banquet Captain/Bartender, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences during events and functions. Duties
- Complete the setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all details meet quality standards and guest expectations
- Lead banquet service staff, coordinating timing and flow to deliver efficient and friendly guest interactions
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Assist with food presentation and service, supporting culinary staff in food handling, plating, and presentation when needed
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional guest relations, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction throughout the event
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, banquet spaces, and service stations in compliance with health standards
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and assisting with general event logistics as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the food industry with a strong background in catering, banquets, or restaurant service
- Culinary experience or food preparation skills preferred to enhance service quality
- Demonstrated bartending expertise with knowledge of drink recipes and beverage presentation
- Excellent guest services skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and strong communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling, and responsible alcohol service regulations
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous; familiarity with large-scale event coordination is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required for event schedules
