Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Sales Associate to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced adult novelty retail environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable discussing intimate wellness products, maintains a judgment-free attitude, and is committed to creating a welcoming shopping experience for all customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide outstanding customer service.
- Assist customers in selecting products based on their needs and preferences.
- Answer questions about merchandise, including intimate wellness, lingerie, novelty items, and accessories.
- Operate the cash register and process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
- Restock inventory and assist with inventory counts.
- Ensure shelves and displays remain fully stocked and properly labeled.
- Promote current sales, loyalty programs, and special promotions.
- Verify customer age when required by company policy.
- Follow all store policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism while discussing adult products and sexual wellness topics.
- Comfortable working in a diverse, inclusive, and judgment-free environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Skills
- Retail sales experience.
- Knowledge of adult novelty, intimate wellness, and lingerie products.
- Social media or promotional experience is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
Work Environment
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required.
- Comfortable working around adult-themed merchandise and marketing materials.
