Duties
- Develop and execute innovative menus that align with the establishment’s brand and customer preferences, emphasizing fine dining standards.
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Lead and manage a diverse culinary team through effective supervision, training, and mentorship to foster professional growth.
- Oversee inventory management and control to minimize waste while maintaining sufficient stock levels for seamless service.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas.
- Coordinate catering events and banquet functions, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes that meet client specifications.
- Manage shift scheduling, labor costs, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining exceptional service quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine dining establishments with a strong background in food production and kitchen management.
- Extensive banquet experience coupled with supervising teams in high-volume settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, food handling, catering, and restaurant management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop culinary staff effectively.
- Knowledge of dietary department practices and food safety protocols is essential.
- Proficiency in inventory control, food service management, and kitchen operations within the food industry.
- Excellent cooking skills complemented by experience in food preparation, bartending, and hospitality environments.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities including shift management, food service coordination, and inventory oversight. Pay: $60,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
