AutoCAD Detailer (Drafting Technician)
Penmac Staffing is seeking a detail‑oriented AutoCAD Detailer for a full‑time, long‑term opportunity with one of our manufacturing clients. This job is NOT remote. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys working with technical drawings, and thrives in a team‑focused environment. The AutoCAD Detailer will play a key role in supporting production and installation teams by creating clear, precise drawings used in manufacturing.
AutoCAD Detailer Responsibilities
- Review sales drawings and design documents for accuracy and completeness
- Produce manufacturing drawings and production reports according to established drafting work instructions
- Create detailed manufacturing drawings and 3D exploded views for production and installation personnel
- Ensure drawings clearly communicate assembly requirements and specifications
- Collaborate with team members to maintain quality standards and meet production needs
Requirements for the AutoCAD Detailer
- Proficiency with computers and Windows 10
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Exchange
- Strong AutoCAD skills required
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and appreciation for quality workmanship
Pay, Schedule, and Benefits
- Pay: $17 per hour and up, based on experience
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift
- Job Type: Full‑time, long‑term position
