American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel contract requiring AHA certifications, comfort floating to PCU and MS units, and residency at least 100 miles from the facility.

ICU position within an acute care hospital setting

Must be comfortable floating to PCU and Med/Surg (MS) units as needed
-
MS float ratios are 1:7
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)
-
36-hour weekly work commitment
-
4 weekend shifts required per schedule period
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
13-week contract
-
Active TN or compact RN license required
-
Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required

Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)

Contract RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside the provision of patient care
