Part Time Spanish Speaking Caregiver
Newark, CA | $28/hour | 4 hours per week
bttr is looking for a dependable and compassionate Spanish speaking caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an adult with a developmental disability in Newark.
Schedule
1 day per week
4 hour shift
Day and time can be coordinated based on availability.
Pay
$26-30 per hour
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support in the home and community
- Assist with daily living activities and routines
- Support independence and personal goals
- Provide companionship and community based support
- Communicate with the participant in Spanish
- Complete basic service documentation after each shift
Requirements
- Fluent or highly proficient in Spanish
- Reliable and consistent
- Patient, respectful, and comfortable supporting adults with developmental disabilities
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Must pass required background screening
- Caregiving, DSP, ILS, SLS, IHSS, or related experience is preferred
