PROPERTY MANAGER/LEASING DIRECTOR
Growing Property Management company looking for an experienced Property Manager with extensive leasing experience. Qualified candidates should have market rate management experience as well as excellent sales, marketing, outsanding customer service and organizational skills.
The Property Manager is fully accountable for all day to day property operations, overseeing and enhancing the value of the property.The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, & have at least 5 years’ experience in multifamily leasing and management.
Reports to Regional Director
Duties and responsibilities included but are not limited to:
- Emphasis on marketing, leasing and move ins
- Oversee maintenance needs for the building and work with Superintendent
- Experience with Rent Manager a plus
- Maintain accurate records of all community transactions and submit on timely basis (rent rolls, delinquency reports, move-in/move-outs, etc.).
- Ensure that all rents and late fees/check charges are collected, posted and deposited in a timely manner.
- Generate necessary legal action, documents and process in accordance with State and Company guidelines.
- Ensure that A/P invoices are submitted to the corporate office for payment, handle petty cash and all funds.
- Ensure current resident files are properly maintained.
- Manage resident concerns and requests on timely basis to ensure resident satisfaction with management & develop resident retention programs.
- Ensure efficiency of staff through ongoing training, instruction, counseling and leadership.
- Maintain community appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed on timely basis. This requires regular community inspections and tours.
- Assure quality of market ready apartments.
- Ensure that models and market ready apartments are walked daily and communicate any service related needs to maintenance.
- Ensure that all service requests are recorded and communicated appropriately to maintenance.
Skills
- Excellent sale skills.
- Experience in property management software. Rent Manager experience a plus.
- Competence in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, math, Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as community software applications.
- Must work as a team player with onsite staff and the corporate office.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
