Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Swing Stage / Scaffold Foreman to lead crews and oversee scaffolding, shoring, and swing stage operations on commercial and residential construction sites. In this role, you will coordinate the setup, inspection, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolding systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation, inspection, and dismantling of swing stages and scaffolding structures across multiple construction sites.
- Coordinate with project managers, safety teams, and subcontractors to ensure timely execution of scaffolding activities aligned with project schedules.
- Enforce strict adherence to OSHA standards and other safety regulations.
- Manage a team of skilled workers, providing clear direction, training, and supervision to ensure quality workmanship.
- Read plans and engineered drawings to accurately interpret project requirements for installs.
- Maintain detailed records of job timesheets, material usage, and project progress; ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
Requirements
- Experienced leading crews for erecting and dismantling scaffold and swing stage.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations related to scaffolding and working at heights.
- Ability to read plans and engineered drawings accurately.
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA 10/30-hour training or higher are highly preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish is a plus.
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
