We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Lot Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of our dealership lot while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate with guests and staff, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Park and retrieve vehicles in a timely manner while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the lot, including washing vehicles and removing debris.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent guest services.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate vehicle movements and manage inventory.
- Operate vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register when required.
- Ensure that all vehicles are properly fueled and maintained before delivery to customers.
Skills
- Experience in valet parking or similar roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
- Strong customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for guests.
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including manual transmission cars.
- Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
