Job Summary
Deliver, uncrate, replace, assemble, set and level commercial kitchen equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Uncrate and unpack kitchen equipment
- Load/unload trucks and safely move product to limit damage
- Set commercial kitchen equipment in place for connection to be made by contractor
- Load tools and equipment and secure items in truck
- Ensure installations are properly secured and sealed in place
- Take proper care of all company issued tools and equipment
- Attend required safety and product training
- Safely operate a box truck (anywhere from 16’ to 32’) to and from installation site
- Safely unload and deliver merchandise to job sites using the equipment provided (hand truck, pallet jack, 4- wheel dolly)
- Perform warehouse operation duties as required
- Adhere to all company safety standards and protocols
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times
Construction:
o Hang exhaust and condensation hoods
o Hang/secure shelving, racking, and other wall or ceiling products (i.e. pot racks, chemical racks, fry cutters, etc.)
o Assembly and installation of large deck-style ovens and roll-in refrigeration units
Qualifications & Skills
- Flexible in schedule to enable the company to meet customer needs – overtime may occasionally be necessary
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Advanced mechanical skills and ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and product manuals
- Experience using hand-operated and power tools
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Solid communication skills
- Excellent customer service attitude
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Must be able to lift 75lbs on a regular and frequent basis
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
