We're growing, and we need an HVAC/R tech who can carry commercial refrigeration and rooftop work independently.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration equipment: walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines
- Service and repair commercial rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, and make-up air units
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC/R equipment for restaurant and commercial accounts
- Respond to emergency service calls — restaurant refrigeration downtime is a same-day problem, and our clients know we treat it that way
- Document work thoroughly in our field service platform (photos, notes, parts used) — our clients are corporate facilities managers who expect a paper trail
- Communicate clearly with on-site managers and our office team on job status, parts needs, and recommendations
What We're Looking For
Required:
- EPA 608 Universal certification
- 3+ years commercial HVAC/R service experience (restaurant/foodservice equipment experience strongly preferred)
- Ability to diagnose independently — you'll often be the only tech on site
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Able to pass background check
- Comfortable with electrical troubleshooting, brazing, and refrigerant recovery/charging
Strong pluses:
- Ice machine experience (Hoshizaki, Manitowoc, Scotsman)
- Kitchen equipment crossover skills (cooking equipment, warewashing)
- Experience working national-brand restaurant accounts and their work order platforms
- WV HVAC licensure or journeyman card

Pay: $28.50 - $35.00 per hour
