Key Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Special Education Certification with appropriate Special Education (SPED) endorsement

- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student, both in small groups and one-on-one
- Develop and maintain comprehensive IEPs, monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies as needed
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student growth
- Create a safe, supportive, and motivating classroom atmosphere
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques and assistive technologies to enhance student learning
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal requirements
