Duties
- Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop customized treatment plans.
- Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment options, progress, and post-session care instructions.
- Maintain detailed records of each session, including client preferences, treatment notes, and progress reports.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations, including CPR certification requirements.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management or injury recovery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize client outcomes.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification.
- Proven experience in massage therapy with knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in various massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of pain management strategies and experience working with clients requiring specialized care.
- Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required to ensure client safety at all times.
- Prior experience in med spa settings or occupational health environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain confidentiality while providing exceptional customer service.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
