Mechanic Responsibilities
- Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines
- Inspecting vehicle systems, suspensions, steering, and exhaust
- Repair and/or replacement of vehicle transmissions, brakes, rotors, etc.
- Test driving vehicles after work has been completed to ensure performance and safety
- Oil changes, brake checks, routine maintenance, etc.
- Maintain records of work to be completed and post completion
- Other duties as assigned by Lead Mechanic
Mechanic Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years’ experience as a mechanic – Caterpillar and Cummins experience a plus
- Experience working on air brake and hydraulic systems
- Welding, preferred
- Metal working and light fabrication
- CDL class B preferred
- Self-starter with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
